Soda Ash Dense
Soda Ash Dense
Soda Ash Dense, also known as Dense Sodium Carbonate (Na₂CO₃), is a white, granular, and free-flowing powder used primarily in glass manufacturing, where it acts as a flux to lower the melting point of silica. It is also used in detergents, chemicals, metallurgy, pulp & paper, and water treatment. Compared to light soda ash, the dense form has a higher bulk density, making it ideal for industrial processes requiring compact material handling and efficient dissolution. It is non-toxic but mildly alkaline, so basic precautions are recommended during handling.
